>> Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Deadline: Jan. 13, 2025.
We are searching for a highly motivated candidate to work on the project ROOTS "ROOm Temperature Single-photon sources with tunable optical nanocavities" financially supported by the Excellence Project "Quantum Frontiers". The aim of the project is to develop novel single-photon sources to be operated in the telecom spectral range (1.55 microns).
Duration: 24 months full-time (tentative starting date March 2025)
Salary: 24320.45 euros/year (gross)
Qualifications:
- PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Nanoscience or similar subjects (mandatory)
- at least 12 months of post-doctoral experience (mandatory) on experimental nanophotonics in particular related to the design and characterization of nanoarchitectures (e.g., nanoarrays or multilayers) to be used to control the emission efficiency from quantum emitters.
- A good level of written and spoken English
- Optical setups know-how and optical spectroscopy background.
Application: The application may only be submitted by completing the online procedure available at this link till Jan. 13, 2025 at 4:00 pm (CET)
